Q: What's the difference between 'Raw' and 'Unique' visits?
A: This is the big secret that many similar services WILL NEVER reveal to you: ALL VISITORS ARE NOT ALIKE!
A RAW visitor is counted every time your site is displayed. RAW visitors are useful when it comes to branding a website or building its name recognition through repetition.
UNIQUE visitors are counted once and only once. Your website will be displayed to them one time and they will not see it again for the life of the campaign. Unique is just another way of having your site shown to a different person every single time.
Q: Do you generate hits using SPAM or other unscrupulous techniques?
A: ABSOLUTELY NOT. The hits we deliver are legitimate. We never send out mass email, post to newsgroups or use automated devices to increase your figures. What's more, all of our publishers are bound by the same high standards. The visitors that you receive are real people.
Q: How long will it take to get my hits?
A: When you purchase a package, we will work with you to schedule a start date for your program. After that start date, hits will come in to your site. Some days you may get a lot of hits, other days you might get only a few. However, we guarantee that you will receive the number of hits requested!
Q: Do you have any restrictions on the content of my site?
A: Your site must adhere to the laws of the United States and must not generate any popup windows. Additionally, it may not contain adult-oriented content, hate material, background audio elements or code that launches downloads, bookmark requests or similar.
Q: How do you get your hits?
A: We have partnered with many reputable websites to form an extensive advertising exchange. These sites receive millions of visitors/day. By placing your site into this exchange, your campaign will be exposed to an English-centric audience numbering in the millions.
Q: How are visits to my site tracked?
A: Unique campaigns are tracked by capturing the IP address of the person visiting your site. Once that address is in our database, that person will no longer be counted towards your campaign.
Raw campaigns are tracked by the number of times your site is displayed on our advertising exchange.
Once your account is active, you'll be given details as to how you may login to our system and view your activity stats in real-time.
Q: Do you guarantee sales or signups on my site?
A: No. Though we guarantee to get your site in front of the number of visitors you ordered, we cannot guarantee that they will buy or signup for anything. You are solely responsible for crafting your landing page so as to solicit the best possible rates of response.
Q: Will you refund my money if my campaign does not generate leads?
A: No. As noted above, we can't guarantee sales nor signups. As this is not a condition of our service, we do not issue refunds on traffic that has been delivered, but hasn't converted.
Q: How come my site counter does not match IgniteTraffic's reports exactly?
A: Several factors may prevent visitors from actually making a request to your server:
- The visitor is on a slow connection and cancelled the request.
- Your site was unavailable (down) or extremely slow.
- The visitor's browser or Internet Provider saved a previous copy of your site and used that, instead.
Third-party tracking (which usually shows up as an image
on your page) magnifies these problems to the point that it
should never be used as a reliable tally. Raw server logs
are the most accurate method for comparison.
